PARKLEX PRODEMA – Sant Joan De Deu Pediatric Cancer Center
The Pediatric Cancer Centre at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona is the first specialised pediatric oncology care centre in Spain and the second in Europe. Designed by the PINEARQ architecture studio, the project was carefully developed with the wellbeing of children and teens in mind.
The interior spaces feature PARKLEX PRODEMA panels in the bamboo finish on the floors, walls, ceiling and furniture lining. The warmth of the wood, along with the vibrant colors of the furniture and graphic applications, softens and humanises the environment.
The technical features of our products ensure the visual continuity of the bamboo. PARKLEX PRODEMA panels are antibacterial and hygienic, since they are resistant to strong chemical cleaners and disinfectants, making them a perfect fit for spaces dedicated to healthcare. Our flooring and interior paneling also feature excellent water, fire and abrasion resistance, and are therefore suitable for high-traffic areas.
